Comedian, Bob Saget has launched a new podcast called, Bob Saget’s Here for You.
Bob was on MZNOW talking with Michael Zavala about his new project.
Have you had more time to write and create during the pandemic? I know you just came out with a podcast.
The podcast, Bob Saget’s Here for You, is on Monday, Wednesday, Friday on Apple podcasts as well as Spotify and others.
I love it because it’s different. I started it before the quarantine, before the pandemic really exploded. The whole idea was to make people feel better cause everybody’s so separated.
So, I wanted to just put an end to that for awhile and just have people have fun. And that’s what I’ve been doing in my podcast. I’ve been calling people because they leave their numbers on a voicemail. You could see it on the top of Apple Podcasts or wherever. And I call them. I called one guy, he was stoned for a half hour and he was laughing about quarantine. So I just kept going with him. It was too good. And then I call my friends. I talked for 90 minutes to John Stamos, John Mayer, mostly Johns and Howie Mandel the King of Social Distancing. I had Norman Lear and Nikki Glaser and so many great people. Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green is coming up and I’ve got Bill Burr on Monday.
It’s just all a wonderful experience for me and it’s doing well, which makes me happy that people dig it.
