Jaime reviews The Hateful Eight

Jaime the Tattoo Guy went to see Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight over the Holidays and give us his thoughts on the movie. Other than the first fifteen minutes, he thought it was pretty good. Here’s a description of the movie from their IMDB page:

In the dead of a Wyoming winter, a bounty hunter and his prisoner find shelter in a cabin currently inhabited by a collection of nefarious characters.

5 Show Highlights from 2015

2015 was a big year for us…or should we say…YOUGE. While there are way too many standout moments to talk about, we posted five of our favorites below. We hope you enjoy them!

5. Gingo!
This year, Eric started a new game that we just can’t get enough of. Just when you thought you knew everything, along comes Glingo!, to test your knowledge of gay lingo. Think you have what it takes to win a game of Glingo! and win the honor of being Gay for the Day? Check out the games’ debut on the show:

4. B-Hamp on the show
Hamp has been a friend of the show for years but has not been in studio since 2011. That all changed in September when, Mr. Ricky Bobby himself, walked through our doors. It’s always a great time when he’s on the show, and this was no different. Check out the show below:

3. Alexis – Bobby’s Superfan
This year, we met Bobby’s “superfan” Alexis. She wrote him for months and Michael finally arranged for her to come to the studio to surprise Bobby. This is what happened:

2. I Don’t Know My Daddy
You never know what’s going to happen when you’re out on the street! After talking to dozens of people at a park for Father’s Day, one girl makes Chris Sapphire speechless…which is very hard to do. Check it out:

1. Flesh-n-Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony
Sitting down with a hip-hop pioneer was certainly one of the most, if not THE most, biggest highlights of 2015. Flesh gave us a incredible one hour interview and you can hear it all below:

We’re looking forward to what is to come in 2016!

MZNOW at the Star Wars Premiere

We showed up to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere at the historic Texas Theater to talk to the people waiting in line and…protest the movie? Michael showed up in a Star Trek command uniform and “protested” the movies space violence. Listen to the clip above and remember, #alienlivesmatter.

Hubby Love, Taylor Stokes, Michael Zavala, Jaime the Tattoo Guy, Chris Sapphire

Chris Sapphire’s Christmas Miracle

Don’t believe in miracles? You will after this story. All little Chris wanted for Christmas was an electric toothbrush. After opening his gifts, the toothbrush was no where to be found. All hope seemed lost until, later that Christmas day, when Santa brought him one last gift. Listen to the clip below to hear Chris recall this heart warming Christmas story.

After that, check out our MZ Family Christmas show from Christmas 2015.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from everyone at MZNOW!

The Flat Tire

Dealing with a flat tire is not one of Michael’s strong suits. He gets a flat on the way to the studio before a show and doesn’t know what to do. He recounts the details of this traumatic event in the clip above. Spoiler alert: He does eventually figure out how to change a tire by Googling it. #SMH

A Charlie Brown Twerksgiving

Excitement is buzzing around our huge Twerksgiving event. So much so that the Peanuts gang is releasing a new holiday special, A Charlie Brown Twerksgiving. Check out the clip above for the official trailer.

Gay Rant: Sam Smith

Chris gives props to Sam Smith for his new song, “The Writing’s On the Wall”. The song is the theme for the new James Bond film, Spectre. Listen to the clip above and then check out the video below:

Adele Prank Calls

So we put this add on Craigslist…

I’m getting rid of my ex-husbands 2002 Dodge Ram 1500…the vehicle he used to go cheat on me MORE than once. I’m not selling it, it is free. First come, first serve.

I don’t know much about it other than it has a small oil leak and when it left my house it was normally parked at his young girlfriends apartment complex.

Please call me to setup pick up.
Thank you.

Little did they know we were just finding a use for all of our Adele clips. Listen to the prank calls in the clip above.

*Not a real call.
